Your well-behaved, leashed pets are welcome at Kamei. They may not be tied up or left unnatended, unless inside your air-conditioned motorhome or trailer. No breed restrictions, we love your furry friends. If you are in search of a quiet, peaceful vacation and/or would like to make a specific site request, we recommend booking for weekdays. Sunday through Thursday tend to be quiet and slow paced around here, and it is perfect for a refreshing vacation. Weekdays are also best for short-notice reservations. Camping of any sort costs $30.00 per night, per site. We accommodate tent camping, RV’s and travel trailers.

We offer 52 campsites, all of which have water and electrical hook-ups. Our roadside RV sites have sewer hook-ups, as well as two of our lakeside sites. We have LIMITED 50 amp sites, the rest are 30 amp. Please be specific when reserving your site if you are in need of a 50 amp. We do recommend making your reservations in advance, especially if you have a large RV, large group or special requests. We do take site requests and try our best to honor them, however we can not guarantee a specific site number until your arrival. (Sites are specific to group sizes, vehicle lengths, etc. and we have to make adjustments from time to time to keep things running smoothly.) We appreciate your understanding.
We also have three on-site travel trailers which we rent nightly. We provide sheets for the master bed, as well as a coffee maker, microwave, oven, stove-top and basic cooking utensils. They do have air conditioning. Be sure to bring anything else that you will need to be comfortable. The trailers have restrooms. Two of them have showers, the third does not. It is recommended that you make a reservation in advance. The two older trailers rent for $55.00 per night, with a $5.00 pet fee. We just added a newer trailer with a slide which rents for $80.00 per night, there are NO pets allowed in the new trailer.
As long as there is no burn-ban, campfires are permitted in raised above-ground fire pits only. We do have limited pits available for rent at $5.00 per night, or you may bring your own. If you would like to rent one of ours, please let us know that you would like to reserve one at the time of your camping reservation.
We take a first night deposit over the phone by credit card to make your reservation. The remainder of your balance is due upon arrival. Please check in at the office before getting set up. We charge a $5.00 cancellation fee and require at lease 72 hour notice prior your reservation to refund your deposit, less the $5.00 per site cancellation fee.
